For starters you may recognise this car… Its been all over the country representing for the guys at caraudiosecurity, and has always turned heads wherever it happened to appear. However it is now in the hands of a new owner who has interesting plans for this stanced out beauty!
Back in 2013 and on a very tight budget I resorted to trying to find shows local to home. After many hours trawling the internet looking for mainly smaller shows i stumbled across Spring Dub. It was only a hours drive away and had all the big show type things such as show and shine so we decided to have a pop along.
Finding such a likeable car is actually harder than you may think. There’s two sides of ‘liking’ automobiles – those cars you’re a fan of, but still find yourself becoming irritated over little niggly bits that could be seen as un-meaningful to some. Or, very rarely, you find yourself becoming so attached to a vehicle, that no matter where you stand when it’s in sight; you just can’t tear your eyes from it. This is exactly how the story goes for Jas’s 7 Series.
Miguel Marini (Marini Motorsport) and Nikki Hayes planned a successful day which involved Time Attack, Drifting and Show and Shine during the day. The morning was a Bright and a Wet one but during the afternoon the Sun spilled out across Mondello Track and it felt like I was in a different country. As the Drift season was still not fully opened and people were still preparing their cars for the 2014 Season, some even managed to get their cars rebuilt early.
So family life had kicked in for Steve Thom, and therefore a sensible runabout was in order to ferry the new born across the land. Having always taken a liking to Audi’s, an A4 S-Line became the car of choice.
In 2001, Honda introduced the Second Generation of the Civic Type R, a three door hatchback known as the EP3. With the 2.0L i-VTEC K20A engine and the classic Type R treatment, not forgetting the close-ratio 6-speed transmission and uprated brakes, it’s no wonder that on numerous occasions the Civic was acclaimed as the ‘Hot Hatch of the Year’! With the generic ‘sports car’ look about it and the 200bhp packed underneath the bonnet, the EP3 was very appealing for those looking for speed, comfort and appearance in a small, funky and unique hatchback.
The Stance Daily meets are fun and awesome nights out where some of the sweetest rides in the South East of the UK meet up to socialise with friends – the evening is aimed at respectable people who appreciate other people’s rides. The team who run it are really focused and chilled and work tightly with the council, who allow the meet to go on. It just goes to show that meets can be enjoyable without all the burnouts and revving! If you have a nice car and want to catch up and socialise with a great bunch of likeminded people then SlamMedia would definitely recommend you to head down to the Stance Daily meets! Until next time…
The Audi A1 is a modern, striking and sexy hatchback. Less than four metres long and all wrapped up in one package that only Audi could pull off, even in despite of the hefty price tag, Audi have indefinitely succeeded with this nifty automobile…
I was in my backroom, sorting out my camera gear for the days shoot, planning in my head a rough route through locations. It was the turn of Mark Norfolk’s V8 Sil80/200sx to make its appearance in front of my lens. After seeing it at shows/drift days during the 2013 season, I was anticipated to see how the day would pan out.
