All Jazzed Up!

IMG_7960So where do we begin with a car like this.  The Honda Jazz is certainly not a commonly modified car in the UK, it is more often seen being driven by the elderly, but every once in a while someone steps up to the mark to make something a little bit special, and that’s exactly what this is. I’ve known Dan for a long time now, like many of us, the friendship was established through our love for cars. Dan is the kind of guy who never has just one project at a time, he has several, and this right here is his daily driver.

[Event] Early Edition

DSC05243
Early Edition 2014 was a new one for us this year, so we vowed that we would have to attend no matter what the circumstances were, and since we were pretty much just down the road from the venue we couldn’t really say no. On the warm and bright Sunday morning we headed over (after tucking into a McDonalds Breakfast) to Northampton’s Saints Rugby Club in which the organiser, Edition38 hold their yearly show, Early Edition. Being re-known for organising one of the biggest VAG shows in the UK we had high hopes and later discovered that we wasn’t let down in the slightest. After an exceptional turn-out with some of the most extravagant and finest cars that the UK has ever seen, we knew that Edition38 had done themselves proud, and that was only the warm up…

StillStatic

_SM00287Owning a MK2 Golf is something to be honoured about, since they are reknown for being one of Volkswagen’s finest classic vehicles, it’s always important to make them as special as they are standard. With plenty of routes to go down in terms of modifying you can never really run out of ideas – but Josh’s plan was something a little extraordinary; to create a remarkably clean, and remarkably tasteful Golf with a bit of a bite to it…

Meeting A Hero

DSC_0015

Just like most people when i was a child i had numerous dream cars. The Ferrari F40 was probably my favourite. It was one of them cars that you see on TV and in magazines but you never dream of ever being able to drive around in one. Dream cars still play a part in my life at the age of 27… My current favourites being the Lamborghini Aventador or Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. There is something about those two cars. Both look absolutely insane and both are so far out of my reach they will more than likely only ever be a dream car.

Red, Retro & Rad

_SM00431 copyRed, retro and rad is surely the only way to describe Tom (or Jetta Man’s) 1983 Volkswagen Jetta that has been through some tough and sometimes unconvincing times but has come out strong and undeniably superior. After many difficult and consistently distressed months,  the Jetta has come out on the other side better than ever and has prepared Tom for the long and uncomfortable drives to various shows across the country in the lowest static Jetta in the UK. But that’s all part of the car scene, right?…

What may strike most people as a “silly thing to do” is in fact the complete opposite in our eyes.. Ultra practical ride height and rally car performance is always going to be a winning combination to us!

The TicTac

_SM00073 copyIt’s the car that has been all over social media sites, events and shows. Miles’s 6R (also known as the TicTac) isn’t shy when it comes to screaming out for attention. With an OCD clean, show car appeal in mind, Miles set to work on the exterior and ended up creating something quite interesting that everyone took a liking to, especially with his good friend Aaron’s TT next to it..
